An adventure on a human scale

Restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris

Following on from "Le journal de la sécurisation", a photo booklet retracing the various projects in which we participated from 2019 to 2021, I invite you to discover "Une aventure à taille humaine", which again illustrates, in photos, the last 4 years of intense collaboration on the restoration from 2021 to 2024.

From work with carpenters, roofers and electricians, to diagnostics and studies with architects, whether outdoors or indoors, with a wide variety of different machines ranging from 13 to 39 meters in working height, our operators' dexterity and innovation were paramount.

Among other things, we have developed and adapted our machines for simultaneous lifting and handling work, constrained by small spaces and limited load-bearing capacity, enabling us to install the structures and then the slabs for the liturgical platform, while at the same time cleaning and restoring the pillar facings at the transept crossing.

This booklet is also an opportunity for me to thank all the JOLY Location workers and team who took part in this work, and who are as involved in the restoration as on day one.
